It’s pretty much like the most hydrating and filling food with close to no calories and fat free. Not to mention, it’s filled with beneficial vitamins!!
I’m 5’7”, 107 pounds, and a size 0 to a size 1. I just ate about 1/3 of a jar of peanut butter today, like I do everyday, and I’m not gaining weight. It’s animal based products as well as processed foods that make you fat.
You know, there is such thing as putting the fork down… or getting a healthy piece of fruit… just saying.
My meal plan for tomorrow looks like this:
Breakfast
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 1 cup of tea
- A serving of oatmeal w/ raw organic maple syrup
Snack
- Blueberries
- An apple
- Water
Lunch
- Banana with organic natural peanut butter
- A cup of orange juice
Snack
- A peach
- Some almonds
- Water
Dinner
- Veggie salad with natural organic raspberry dressing
- A cup of cherry juice
Tasty… I know.
Breakfast:
- One cup of orange juice
- A cup of black tea with a bit of vanilla almond milk and I allowed myself to add a bit of sugar.
- I used half a cup of raw oats and half of a cup of water to make myself some oatmeal, and I added a tablespoon of organic maple syrup on top of it.
Snack:
- I had a few handfuls of black berries, and blueberries.
- A half of a cup of orange juice.
Lunch:
- Whole wheat and grain bread with vegan “turkey” on top, with lettuce.
- Water.
Snack
- A tablespoon of organic local peanut butter
Dinner:
- Salad made with romaine lettuce, carrots, tomato, green pepper, and onions with organic nonfat balsamic vinaigrette dressing on top.
- A glass of grape juice.
Snack:
- A bit of vegan vanilla almond icecream
Exercise:
- About 20 to 30 minutes on exercise bike.
- 150 crunches
- 50 bicycle crunches
- 30 second leg lifts at 3 levels (Lay on back, lift legs all the way up, hold for about 30 seconds, then move legs down so they’re at about a 45 degree angle, hold for 30 seconds, then move legs down so they’re about 2 to 3 inches away from the floor without touching it, hold for 30 seconds.)
- Stretches
That’s pretty much my day today.
That has to be one of the most ridiculous “diets” ever. If someone wants to marry you, they most likely accepted what you look like and what weight you are at to begin with. I understand wanting to lose weight in order to fit into a certain dress, or to impress others, yet your wedding shouldn’t be this whole body altering superficial extravaganza. This, to me, just seems like yet another case where lazy, uneducated people are desperately searching for the quickest and easiest fix instead of doing things the right and healthy way. In reality, shoving a feeding tube down your throat is most likely not going to be good for your health, it will be very uncomfortable, and I doubt the weight loss will be long term, and you’ll most likely gain it all back the day after the wedding once you probably pass out on the floor and wake up to a binge eating frenzy the next day due to your blood sugar being way off.
This is why I push science, rationality, doubt, skepticism, logic, and reasoning more than I do my veganism. (That, and I have anorexia, so I doubt one would want to take dieting advice from an anorexic, however, I do have all of my nutrients, and I am fairly healthy.) I feel that the more we get people to question everything… and I mean EVERYTHING… the more we can get people to question something as elementary as how they feed themselves. People who use science as their main train of thought are more likely to construct research, and gather data in order to make intelligent life choices. Once one sees, due to good researching skills, how unhealthy, unethical, and environmentally unsafe eating a meat and dairy based diet is, they are more likely to make the switch to become vegan. This is why I have dedicated my life to science, among a plethora of other reasons. I feel that the more we get people to question things and use the scientific method to find answers for themselves, the better off our species will be.
