Layne, thank you for the music, lyrics, and the voice that you shared with the world. You definitely touched the lives of many people including my own. There will never be a musician as truly unique as yourself. 

Kurt Cobain, thank you so much for your contributions to the musical world as well. You were a beautiful person with such a strong talent. I am proud to say that “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was the first song that I have ever heard in my life and that it was my first favorite song. Without you, my first favorite song as a baby wouldn’t have existed.

I was too young to remember. That was way back in the early 1990’s when I was just a baby.

Vodevil, Wight Spider, Kill King 33, Dried, Tied, and Dead to the World, Antichrist Superstar, Minute of Decay, Target Audience, I Want To Kill You Like They Do In The Movies, Murderers Get Prettier Everyday, Cake and Sodomy, Speed of Pain, Fall of Adam, Pretty as a Swastika, Long Hard Road out of Hell, and Apple of Sodom. (Anything Marilyn Manson makes is great, in my opinion.)

When did you first get into 3?
After my mom and I dropped my brothers off at a skatepark when I was approximately 16 years old, I heard Change on sirius radio and fell in love with their rather unique sound.

How did you get into 2?
When I was about 17 years old, although I liked them before then. Layne Staley’s voice was like gold to my ears, I felt his pain, and I just got hooked. I can’t stand the new singer, though. Definitely not Layne Staley material.

What is a good memory concerning 1?
Marilyn Manson was my childhood pretty much. I didn’t have good memories from my childhood, so there aren’t any good memories.

Sweet Dreams or Cake and Sodomy. I was like 5 years old, so I don’t remember.

How did you find out about 4?

One of my older cousins was listening to one of their songs when I was younger, and I liked what they sounded like, so I got into that band.

Either “Fuck you, I wont do what you tell me.” or “Ain’t it funny how the factory doors close, about the time that the school doors close. Around the time that a hundred thousand jail cells open up to greet you like the reaper.” or something like that. I don’t know. I have a lot of favorite lyrics from that band.
