Instead of bitching about how society is oppressing you, realize that you are part of society, and you’re the one who makes the decision to let the opinions or words of the idiotic masses influence your ultimate behavior, self esteem, or opinions. If you truly were happy with yourself, “society’s” opinion wouldn’t even matter to you. How about growing a thicker skin, instead of trying to convince everyone and yourself that everyone is “special”. Welcome to reality. It’s a cold, dark place, and, even though this watered down world likes to disguise this fact, it’s all about natural selection. Those who are truly fighters, thick-skinned, mentally and physically strong, and who are independent are those who wind up with the more satisfying and longer lives. Those who need approval all of the time, are insecure, doubtful of their abilities, have low self esteem, and whine about how oppressed they are tend to get shoved into the dirt. Sorry, but many women (and men) need a wake up call. Stop being like children who need to be babied by others and told that you’re “special”, and start acting grown up and fucking own your lives.
